Sapphire and diamond ring

The emerald-cut sapphire weighing 45.81 carats, flanked by clusters of 20 pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 2.00 carats, mounted in platinum, size 6¾.

Very good condition with light surface wear to the mounting. The sapphire is a vibrant, medium-deep, very slightly violetish blue and eye-clean. See AGL report no. CS 38915 stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin; no gemological evidence of heat enhancement present. The diamonds set on the shoulders are approximately F-G color, VS-SI clarity.
