- Van Cleef & Arpels
Designed as a chain of rectangular, oval and circular links supporting a lozenge-shaped pendant, decorated with 10 cultured pearls measuring approximately 10.4 to 11.8 mm. in diameter within borders of round diamonds, the oval links also set with round diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 25.50 carats, total length approximately 25½ inches, pendant detachable, necklace separates into three segments of equal length that may also be worn as bracelets, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, N.Y., numbered 44689.
Condition
One diamond missing from the floret to the left of the central lozenge-shaped plaque (as seen in catalogue illustration). Otherwise, the necklace is in good condition. The near-round and button-shaped pearls bear a very slightly silvery white body color, good luster and minimal blemishing. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VS clarity. Signed on three of the four clasps.
