Description

The slightly tapering line set at regular intervals with 8 emerald-cut diamonds together weighing 12.31 carats, flanked by 26 smaller emerald-cut diamonds weighing approximately 20.25 carats, bordered by calibré-cut emeralds, mounted in platinum, length 6 5/8 inches.

Condition

The emerald-cut diamonds weigh 1.00, 1.54, 1.62, 1.18, 1.04, 1.85, 2.23 and 1.85 cts, and are approximately G-H color and VVS-VS clarity. The remainder of the diamonds are approximately G-J color and VVS-SI clarity. Most of the emeralds are abraded and/or chipped, some significantly, and few poor quality replacements. This does not effect the overall beauty of the piece however. Nice engraving detail on the sides of the bracelet. In good condition overall, and fitted with a safety closure.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Prospective buyers should inspect each lot to satisfy themselves as to condition and must understand that any statement made by Sotheby's is merely a subjective qualified opinion. Illustrations in the catalogue may not be actual size. Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.
