The flexible band of bombé form set with 480 round diamonds weighing approximately 48.00 carats, decorated with 60 round sapphires set in diagonal bands, mounted in platinum and 18 karat gold, length 7 inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 59-816, maker's mark, assay marks.
Condition
In good condition, very well made and bearing a nice heft. The transitional-cut diamonds are approximately F-G color and VS clarity. The medium-deep blue sapphires are well-matched and of good clarity. The safety pin must be extended by approximately 2 mm to open the bracelet (the pin does not pull out the entire way). Maker's mark for Pery et Cie on the tongue. Length 7 inches. "VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, 59.816," workshop and French assay mark on reverse of tongue of clasp.
