The flowerhead with upturned petals centering an old European-cut diamond of cognac color weighing approximately 4.50 carats, further decorated throughout with 16 baguette diamonds of cognac color, 8 hexagonal diamonds of yellow and brown hue, 24 triangular colorless and near colorless diamonds and 65 diamonds of various shapes, mounted in 18 karat gold, signed Schlumberger, Montures, maker's mark HL, French assay marks.
Condition
The numerous diamonds in the brooch, minus the center stone, weigh a total of approximately 13.50 carats. The diamonds range in color from near colorless to medium brown-yellow and approximately VS-I clarity. Signed Schlumberger and Montures on plaques applied to the reverse of the brooch. The maker's mark is on the frame underneath one of the pin stems. In good condition.
