Description
The single graduated strand composed of 33 natural pearls measuring approximately 13.05 to 7.87 mm., completed by a oblong-shaped clasp set with an emerald-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.65 carats, framed by small old European-cut and single-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, length 15½ inches, clasp signed Cartier.
Condition
Good condition. The round to near-round pearls present a white to cream body color, predominantly soft pink and green overtones (several examples with moderate to strong overtones), good luster, and predominantly moderate blemishing including pitting and scratching. A couple of the pearls near the center bear relatively deep pits. The diamond rondelles are approximately near colorless to L-M color and VS-SI clarity. The emerald-cut diamond set into the clasp is approximately F-G color, VS clarity. The remaining diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS clarity.
