Designed as two cascading floral clusters, the larger surmounted by a butterfly, set with 81 round, 34 marquise-shaped and 23 baguette diamonds weighing approximately 14.45 carats, the smaller set with 23 marquise-shaped, 32 round and 14 baguette diamonds weighing approximately 8.50 carats, mounted in platinum, may be worn together or separately, unsigned, maker's mark FC, assay marks. 

Catalogue Note

The present brooch, though unsigned, appears along with the berry brooch (lot 91) on a single page of black and white jewelry renderings. Both the berry brooch, which is signed Marchak, and the present brooch bear the same maker's mark of FC in a lozenge.
