18 karat gold lariat necklace with pavé diamond ornaments and pendants, Van Cleef & Arpels, New York, 1964

The gold mesh chain decorated at either end with platinum barrel-shaped links pavé-set with 90 round near colorless diamonds weighing 5.23 carats, anchored by 2 gold pear-shaped pendants pavé-set with 220 round diamonds of yellow color weighing 12.77 carats, length approximately 35½ inches, barrel links signed VCA, numbered N.Y. 35047, pendants detachable.  With two suede pouches, one signed Van Cleef & Arpels. 

The yellow diamond pendants and the white diamond ornaments were supplied by Van Cleef & Arpels as enhancements to Mrs. Singer's gold chain from Gubelin in 1964.
