Diamond, colored stone and enamel brooch, Raymond Yard, circa 1930
Designed as a pavé-set diamond chicken with cabochon ruby eye and carved ruby tail, wearing a bonnet with red enamel ribbon and a necklace of seed pearls, holding a parasol decorated in green and black enamel with a ruby bead at the top, the legs of baguette diamonds ending in gold shoes, mounted in platinum and gold, signed Yard Inc.
