The triple-strand necklace composed of numerous cultured pearls measuring approximately 4.5 mm. to 8.0 mm., decorated centrally with a lion's-head ornament supporting a cultured pearl tassel, the whole set with numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 18.25 carats, the lion also accented with pear-shaped ruby eyes, mounted in 18 and 14 karat gold, length 24 inches, detaches to form a shorter necklace and bracelet, signed VCA, necklace links numbered N.Y. 51505.
