Description

  • one pearl deficient.
Set with a step-cut emerald within pearls and circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamond clusters, further embellished by a black enamel frame, to the scrolling border of pink sapphire and circular-cut stones, suspending three articulated swags accented with pearls drops set en pampille,

Condition

Principal emerald measuring approximately 16.3mm x 14.1mm x 6.0mm, estimated to weigh approximately 11.25 carats, a medium slightly bluish green hue, with moderate saturation of colour, cavities and surface reaching fractures, small chips visible with magnification, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye. The remaining emeralds are well matched on the whole, some with slightly weaker saturation of colour. Principal pearl measures approximately 14.9mm x 12.5mm, drilled right through, of grey tint with rosé overtones, medium lustre, blemishes to skin to left hand side of pearl. Traces of dirt/glue to underside of rose-cut diamond cap, traces of glue to another pearl. Remaining pearl drops all drilled right through, some with banded colour from dark grey to silver grey, low to medium lustre. White pearls button-shaped, white-cream bodycolour, medium lustre on average, some with rosé overtones, a couple with pitting but the rest with smooth skins, well matched in size. One pearl deficient. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 4.50 - 5.00 carats, of mixed colours and clarities. Rubies a medium purplish-red hue with medium saturation of colour, typical inclusions visible with magnification. Small losses to black enamel on lower scroll details, small repair to enamel frame on upper left side. In good condition, well preserved.
