EXTREMELY RARE AND IMPORTANT PAIR OF FANCY PURPLISH RED DIAMOND, DIAMOND AND NATURAL PEARL PENDENT EAR CLIPS

Each cluster surmount centring on an oval fancy purplish red diamond weighing 0.82 and 0.93 carats respectively, surrounded by eight cushion- and two marquise-shaped diamonds, supporting a detachable natural pearl drop measuring approximately 22.20 x 13.45 x 13.25mm and 23.00 x 12.30 x 11.00mm, the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 8.30 carats, mounted in platinum, clip and post fittings.

Accompanied by GIA reports numbered 13810182 and 15274382, stating that the 0.82 and 0.93 carat diamonds are natural, Fancy Purplish Red colour, SI1 and I1 clarity respectively; and 15270126, stating that the two partially drilled baroque shape pearls are natural. Also accompanied by Gübelin reports numbered 0611073 and 0611074, dated 23 November 2006, stating that the 0.82 and 0.93 carat diamonds are natural, Fancy Purplish-Red colour, SI2 and I1 clarity respectively, with a note to the report classifying the diamonds as type Ia. "Furthermore, this is the first pair of diamonds with such an exquisite colour to have been analysed and graded by the Gübelin Gem Laboratory to date."
