EXCEPTIONAL ALEXANDRITE, SEED PEARL AND DIAMOND RING

Set with a cushion-shaped alexandrite weighing 26.54 carats, embellished by a frame of seed pearls measuring approximately 3.00mm, the triple split shoulders accented by diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold.

Accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 0608632, dated 22 August 2006, stating that the 26.54 carat alexandrite is natural, of Brazilian origin (Hematita mine), and displays a distinct colour-change. According to the appendix: "This exceptional gemstone displays a saturated and homogeneous colour combined with a very high degree of transparency. The well proportioned cut provides many internal vivid colour reflections, enhanced by a very pronounced colour change effect from bluish-green when viewed in daylight, to reddish-purple upon exposure to incandescent light. Such a combination of high clarity and strong colour-change effect in a Brazilian alexandrite exceeding 15 ct is very rare."
