One of highly translucent icy material carved as a Guanyin seated on a lotus throne with a serene expression, set within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, surmounted by a cabochon ruby, accompanied by a double link chain spectacle-set with rose-cut diamonds, length approximately 380 to 400mm; and the other, depicting a seated laughing Buddha holding a pearl in both hands, carved from pale apple green material of celadon tone of good translucency, surmounted by a diamond-set loop, accompanied by a twisted black cord, length approximately 540mm; mounted in 18 karat blackened gold.
