The brooch designed as a butterfly, the wings studded with variously shaped emeralds, rubies and sapphires interspersed by brilliant-cut diamonds, the body composed of a cultured baroque pearl, with ruby-set eyes, pendant fitting; and a pair of matching ear clips set with similar stones, accented by stylised diamond-set flower motifs, clip and post fittings; the emeralds, rubies and sapphires altogether weighing approximately 28.30 carats and diamonds approximately 3.50 carats, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold.
