Catalogue Note
Fifth edition of volume 1, fourth edition of volume 2 and third edition of volume 3. Ramusio's collection of voyages is one of the earliest and most complete, containing several relations not found elsewhere. The first volume relates almost entirely to Africa, the second to Asia and the third to America; the present edition of volume 3 contains some new material.
