Condition

Please note that the correct orientation for this work should be with the green stripe along the bottom edge. This painting has been fairly recently restored. Although the cracking on the top edge in the center is quite visible, the paint layer is stable. The white framework surrounding the painting is original and the reverse of the panel has been reinforced through the framework to keep the piece stable and untwisted. The painting has been cleaned and lightly varnished, and although further retouches could be applied along the top edge particularly, the picture could also be hung in its current condition.
