Condition
The canvas appears to have been relined. There is craquelure throughout the work but the surface appears to be stable. Under ultra violet light there is an opaque varnish visible along with areas of inpainting in the black area of the upper left and along the right edge. There are several retouched cracks along the right edge, the top edge and in the lower left corner. There are old frame abrasions along the edges that have been retouched. There is a ¼ in. loss along the edge in the upper right corner.
