Condition

This painting g is in very good state. The canvas is unlined, in the upper right corner the date "935" has been turned around to the side of the stretcher, but is clearly visible. The paint layer has been cleaned and lightly varnished. There is a small patch on the reverse of the canvas and retouch on the front, which addresses a quarter of an inch tear situated in the hair above the left side of the forehead. Apart from a few further dots around the edges, there are no other losses and the picture should be hung as is.
