rectangular amulet engraved with scrolled cartouche within pilasters, 18th century
another amulet of book form, 19th century
pear-shaped flask chased with grapevine, circa 1700
bombé circular powder box, with marks of Giuseppe Fontana, Turin, circa 1800
a shield with shaped top, 18th century
another shield, engraved with a bud, early 19th century
small bowl with leaf-engraved rim
pair of silver-mounted steel scissors
two glass flasks
two rings, inscribed in Hebrew
book of prayers for the circumcision ceremony, dated 1818, bound in red morroco with silver filigree mounts (some lacking)
woven fabric band with floral motifs
desk seal
all contained in a wood box inlaid with banding

Catalogue Note

The prayer book contains a silver pencil with the monogram of Rafael Lattes, whose name is inscribed inside.  The desk seal carries the initials of his son, Benjamin Lattes.
