Description

  • height 9 7/8 in. (25cm)
the arched shield chased with foliage and centered by a pair of doors, probably later, opening to reveal the Decalogue, plaque compartment below, also fitted with a pair of spiral columns topped by rampant griffons supporting a crown, struck with three control marks, two apparently later inserted

Condition

the portion plaque possibly German, as noted re: two control marks, two border repairs to back (not through) and a few nuts replaced, otherwise good
