Condition

Lined canvas. The surface is in fairly good condition, except for a very soiled varnish and minor scratch at upper left corner; a few spots of visible retouching on the face and the background. Under UV light: two generations of inpainting can be seen: older inpainting on the forehead and temple of the figure and a large area on the wall at center right; newer inpainting on her hair and scattered touch-ups through the dress.
