Inset to the centre with a polished opal, within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds and a textured bark effect mount, size P, signed Grima, maker's marks, British hallmarks for London, 1975.

Mounted in 18 carat yellow gold. Bright diamonds. The opal displaying a typical play-of-colour with a very distinctive red area. The underside showing the matrix of the opal. Opal slightly loose in its setting, might benefit from professional attention. Scratches and indentations to band consistent with wear. Heavy ring weighing approximately 16.7 grams. In very good condition.
