Description
The hinged watch cover of geometric design set at the centre with a pear-shaped sapphire, within a radiating surround of step-cut and baguette diamonds, to a graduated bracelet composed of single-cut and baguette stones, the watch cover opening to reveal a circular dial applied with baton and dot indicators, dial signed Mathey Tissot, length approximately 155mm.
Condition
Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.50-6.50 carats. Estimated colour I/J, estimated clarity VS/SI. Principle pear-shaped sapphire measuring approximately 7.45mm x 6mm x 4.1mm, estimated to weigh approximately 1.46 carats. The sapphire an inky-blue colour with medium colour saturation. Typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Manual movement not running at time of cataloguing. Centre of dial hands discoloured by oxidation. Safety chain to one side of clasp. Well articulated. In very good condition.
