SAPPHIRE, RUBY AND DIAMOND BRACELET, MAUBOUSSIN, 1960s

Description

Applied to the centre with two flower head motifs set with circular-cut sapphires and rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, to a tapering bracelet set with graduated lines of sapphires and rubies between borders of coiled rope work, length approximately 170mm, signed Mauboussin, French assay marks.

Condition

Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.15-1.25 carats. Rubies of slight purplish-red hue, strong saturation of colour. Typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Sapphires well matched, strong saturation of colour. Two sapphires chipped to crown. Typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Bright and lively stones overall. Bracelet well articulated, some sections slightly stretched. Unusual clasp opening upwards. Safety catch to one side of clasp. In very good condition.
