Description

Comprising: a pair of cufflinks and three dress buttons, each circular link of pierced floral needle point design, millegrain-set with circular-, single- and rose-cut diamonds, to an engraved scroll work gallery, together with four additional button links, numbered, French assay marks, case by Cartier London.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Diamonds bright and lively throughout. Connection of each cufflink inscribed S.G.D.G to one side and BREVETÉ (copyright) to the other. Indistinct numbering. Scratches to underside of each link and button, consistent with age and wear, not visible when worn. In very good condition. Case a little worn. The interior silk with pen marking, the velvet a little discoloured, small areas of damage to inner rim. The exterior rubbed in some places and the leather lifting at front and above hinge.
