Description

The pendant set with a step-cut tourmaline, the surmount and suspension loop decorated with variously-cut diamonds, British import marks for London 1976, together with a ring set with a step-cut tourmaline, the shoulders embellished with brilliant-cut and tapered baguette diamonds, size L, British import marks for London 1976, two diamonds deficient.

Condition

Pendant: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold and PA Ltd to reverse of setting. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.5 carat, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity VS-SI. Tourmaline measuring approximately 23mm x 16mm x 8.7mm, estimated to weigh approximately 29.0-30.0 carats. Tourmaline showing obvious dichroism, of blue-green hue with strong saturation of colour. Small abrasions to facet edges. In good condition. Ring: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to inside of shank. Tourmaline measuring approximately 16mm x 10.9mm x 6.6mm, estimated to weigh 10.0-11.0 carats. Tourmaline slightly dichroic, of blue-green hue, abraded facet edges and small chips. Diamonds bright and lively, one tapered baguette stone deficient and on the opposite side one wire has broken off, this would have had a brilliant-cut stone finishing it. Misshapen band, could benefit from attention by a professional jeweller. In overall good condition.
