Description

Each designed as a fly, the head a circular cabochon emerald, the thorax a mixed-cut yellow sapphire, the wings and eyes highlighted with single- and brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, French assay marks.

Condition

Each brooch stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum to underside of each fly and 18 carat gold to each pin. Each signed and numbered C.S 4393 and C.S. 4394 to the underside. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.60 carat, bright and lively stones. Each yellow-sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 5.32 and 5.97 carats, low to medium colour saturation. Cabochon emeralds of bluish-green hue, medium colour saturation. Typical inclusions visible to naked eye. In very good condition.
