Description
The circular dial decorated with pale green guilloché enamel, to a white enamel chapter ring, applied with Roman numerals, interspersed with engraved flower head motifs, the hands millegrain-set with rose-cut diamonds, to a carved onyx case highlighted by similarly-cut stones to each corner, measuring approximately 73mm x 73mm, signed Cartier N.Y. and numbered, fitted case by Cartier New York.

Manual movement running at time of cataloguing. Diamonds bright and lively throughout. Enamel in very good condition. Hinged easle moves easily, inscribed E.W & C. Co INC, numbered 323, France. The clock movement case and foot probably brass, with scratches and tarnish consistent with age and use. Fitted case with some scratches to exterior, silk interior a little worn and Cartier details rubbed, velvet stained beneath clock, hinged catch. Back of case stamped Cartier, Made in France, with easle stand. Weighing approximately 191.8 grams. In excellent condition.
