Designed around the neck as a graduated cascade of floral and foliate motifs, centring on a principal modified pear-shaped aquamarine surmounted by a smaller stone, the articulated leaves carved from rock crystal highlighted with lines of brilliant-cut diamonds and clusters of variously-cut aquamarines, signed Roberto Capucci and numbered, Italian assay marks, case by Roberto Capucci.
Condition
Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to underside. Diamonds bright and lively throughout. The principal modified pear-shaped aquamarine a pale blue hue with medium saturation of colour, measuring approximately 33mm x 29mm x 15mm. The remaining aquamarines in central floral motif well matched, the other smaller stones througout the necklace a paler blue hue on average, typical inclusions visible with magnification. One rock crystal petal damaged, visible to the left hand side of the central motif, another to the right with a small chip to the tip. Numbered 12 to reverse. Estimated to weigh approximately 145 grams. In excellent condition.
