Of rectangular form, the black enamel case applied to the obverse with carved lapis lazuli flower heads each centring on a rose-cut diamond, opening to reveal a mirror, powder compact and lipstick, measurements approximately 60mm x 40mm x 10mm, French assay and maker's marks, numbered.
