LADY'S SUEDE, GEM-SET AND DIAMOND EVENING PURSE, CARTIER, CIRCA 1935

The black suede exterior with an asymmetrical edge, centring on a clasp designed as a textured leaf upon which rests a lady bird, its body of coral and black enamel highlighted with rose-cut diamond points, opening to reveal a leather interior separated into three main compartments, the central one with four smaller pockets, measurements approximately: length 235mm, width 160mm, depth from 15mm to 60mm, signed Cartier Paris and numbered to annular link, stamped Cartier Made in France to interior.
