comprising: Ayakashi with exhorbited eyes and wrinkled anxious face, signed Deme Toshimitsu (Juman) and inscribed Suji Ayakashi Tokuwaka jinka (?) in gilt lacquer on the reverse; Kokushiki, the black Sambaso with an articulated jaw and a wrinkled face rendered with beard, moustache and eyebrows, signed with seal Kitsuyoshi Komadaka (Hakkou?); Hannya, the vengeful female ghost lacquered in green with gilt teeth, eyes and horns, signed with archaic seal Ryuka (?); Buaku, the demon with sorrowful eyes, with an old label "Mitsounaga" and archaic seal Hosho (?); and Ko-Kashiki, a young man practising austerities to become a priest, unsigned
