Description
of hira-zukuri, choji-midare hamon of ko-nie and nioi, ko-maru boshi, namu ami butsu horimono, the reverse with koshi-hi and soe-hi, ubu-nakago with one mekugi-ana, mei Koga ni oite Sokan saku kore, Koka 4 (1847, 11th month); 30.3cm., 12in.; in shirasaya; together with koshirae comprising brown lacquer saya and tsuka simulating rotting wood applied in shibuichi, shakudo, copper and gilt with a snake, frog, snail and insects, fuchi signed Hamano Terunori
