In good condition aside from slight frame abrasion along upper and lower edge with minute loss extreme upper right corner edge. Overall surface dirt and dust. Scattered areas of pigment seperation in lower 1/4 of painting. Small area of cracquelure upper center at edge and other areas very faint pigment seperation and cracquelure in greens of sky. Under UV: no apparent areas of in-paint. On the reverse it is inscribed (not in the artist's handwriting) in Hebrew, 'Mordecai Ardon (Bronstein)'. Bronstein was the artist's last name before he changed it to Ardon.
