Condition
The photograph is scotch taped down on gray paper intermittently which has discolored possibly due to mold, also with mat burns in lower left and center right edge. Photo is cut by artist and curls at edges with one hard crease in lower right. This is inherent as are occasional glue stains on photo surface. White sheet behind central figure shows dark tape stains. Otherwise, fine.

Catalogue Note
The couple depicted in the present work are Mr. and Mrs. Morton Neumann. Mr Neumann was a passionate collector for over 30 years, befriending the artists whose works he collected, including Picasso, MirĂ³, Dubuffet and Giacometti. 137 works from his collection were exhibited at the National Gallery in 1980, and Sotheby's sold a selection of 27 works in November, 1998.
