Condition
Good condition. Original canvas. Surface is slightly dirty. There is some minor craquelure in the thickly applied white pigments, particularly in the center of top edge and middle of lower half of the composition. Under UV light, several specks of inpainting along lower half of left edge to address frame abrasion and one ½ inch long stroke of inpainting just above center at left edge. One nailhead-size dot near right edge in lower right quadrant. Three ½ inch long strokes near center of bottom edge. Three hairline strokes of inpainting over signature. A few other scattered pinhead-size spots fluoresce. Otherwise, fine.
