Condition
The canvas is lined. There is a 4 by 2cm. area of retouching to the top right corner, a 1cm. sq. area of retouching to the top left corner, and a 5cm. line of retouching to the bottom left corner, probably to cover previous frame rubbing. All retouching is visible under UV light. There is a 1cm. line of retouching to the left edge, also visible under UV light. Apart from a thick varnish and some light craquelure, mainly to the bottom half, this work is in fairly good condition.
Colours: Overall deeper and richer in the original.
