Condition

The canvas is wax-lined. There is a narrow 10cm line of retouching to the centre of the left edge and a similar line to the right of the top edge. There are several small lines and spots of retouching above the horizon to the centre and some very small spots of retouching to the extreme bottom edge. Apart from a stretcher mark running vertical to the centre, this work is in good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate although stronger and deeper in the original.
