Catalogue Note
The present two studies are preparatory drawings for Gustav Klimt’s stunning painting Goldfisch of 1901-02 which is now located in the Kunstmuseum in Solothurn in Switzerland. They are characterised by the beautiful line describing a nude from behind with wavy hair and alluring curves.
