Condition

The board is sound. Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching. Apart some craquelures throughout, this work is in good condition.

Peintre du groupe des Batignolles, habitué du Café Guerbois, Béliard participe aux deux premières expositions impressionnistes de 1874 et 1876. Essentiellement paysagiste, l'artiste affectionne tout particulièrement les vues de l'Ile de France et les bords de l'Oise qu'il va peindre en compagnie de Pissarro, Guillaumin et Cézanne.
