• nickel lever movement, 17 jewels • silvered dial, applied Roman and baton numerals, inner chapter ring calibrated for 60 units with luminescent 5-unit divisions, luminescent hands, sweep center seconds, central rotating dial for alarm-setting • 18k gold circular case, rotating world-time bezel calibrated for 24 time zones and engraved with 37 cities, coin edge to bezel, t-bar lugs, factory-engraved snap back • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k gold Van Cleef & Arpels buckle
Condition
The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial is very clean with no visible marks. The case is in nearly unworn condition with very light scuffs and a very slight ding on the back at 9 o'clock. The factory engraving to the snap back reads 'Traveler, Van Cleef & Arpels Paris,' with the Van Cleef logo in relief. The case is further numbered 123038 and 67441. The watch is further accompanied by a Van Cleef & Arpels tie-tag. It should be noted that the watch was not opened during cataloguing.
