Union 30-05 nickel lever movement, mono-metallic compensation balance, 24 jewels, some jewels carried in screwed gold chatons, micrometer regulator • silvered matte dial, Arabic numerals, blued steel alpha hands, subsidiary seconds • large circular case, polished bezel, satin-finished band and lugs, sapphire crystal display screw back • case, dial and movement signed • with a stainless steel Union buckle

Condition

The movement is running, however we recommend service soon. The dial is very clean with no marks visible. The case shows almost no wear throughout. There is a number scratched to the back of the upper left lug. The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species; please refer to Important Notices for further information.

Uhrenfabrik Glashütte/SA was originally founded in 1893 by Johannes Dürrstein. The company's name would eventually change to Uhrenfabrik Union in 1909. When the firm was re-launched in the 1990s, the high values of the German watchmaking town of Glashütte were brought back.
