Catalogue Note
Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1997 and sale on January 6th, 1998.
At the time of its debut in 1996, Ref. 5035 was the first automatic annual calendar wristwatch to be produced by any company. This function means that the watch only requires one date adjustment each year, on March 1st. This model was discontinued in 2005.
An example of Ref. 5035 with an identical dial is illustrated in Huber, M. & Banbery, A., Patek Philippe Wristwatches, Second Edition, p. 323.
To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time the present example has been offered at auction.
