• cal. 5739 nickel lever movement stamped twice with the seal of Geneva, glucydur balance, 25 jewels, micrometer regulator, adjusted to 5 positions, signed rotor • two-tone silvered dial stamped with the seal of Geneva and signed Bulletin D'Observatoire, applied dagger indexes, feuille hands, sweep center seconds, subsidiary dial combining month and leap year indication, two fan-form retrograde chapters for day and date, aperture for moon-phases, outer chapter ring calibrated for fifths of a second • oversized 18k white gold cambered square case, stepped bezel, brushed band, downturned lugs, sapphire crystal display back • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k white gold Roger Dubuis buckle
Condition
The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial appears very clean with no visible spots or marks. The case is very clean with only minor shop wear and the watch appears to be in virtually unworn condition.

The present lot is number 7 in a limited edition of 28 examples produced.
In 1996, Roger Dubuis introduced the the 'Sympathie' line of watches with distinctive fancy cushion cases, the so-called cambered square. It was produced with many varieties of complications, dials and metals.
