• cal. 12-120 nickel lever movement, mono-metallic compensation balance, 18 jewels, micrometer regulator, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions • silvered dial, applied gold bullet indexes, gold dauphine hands, pearled minute track, engine-turned subsidiary seconds • 18k gold circular case, flat bezel, downturned lugs, snap back • case, dial and movement signed

The movement is running, however it may require service soon. It is stamped HOX, which indicates it was made for the American market. The dial appears very clean. The case has been polished, and the hallmark on the snap back is rubbed. It appears clean with some light scuffs.

Ref. 96, the Calatrava, was produced for almost 40 years. Production began in 1932, around the same time that Patek Philippe initiated the practice of assigning reference numbers to all of their watches.
