The movement running at time of cataloguing, however will probably benefit from a cleaning. The dial appears to be original with some light spots to the outer edge of the black surface. The case is in generally good condition with general wear and light scuffs. The numbers between lugs are 382212 and 6567; the inside of the back is stamped 6567 and the movement is numbered 776633. The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species; please refer to Important Notices for further information.

This model, Ref. 6567, was a very popular model in the 1940s and 1950s. It is seen with many varieties of dials including, silvered, gilt, guilloché and, as in the present lot, colorful lacquered finishes.
