Condition

Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1978 and sale on October 31st, 1979. It should be noted that the Extract specifies that the watch originated with a brown dial. The Certificate, however, confirms the blue dial that the watch currently has. The movement is running, however it may require service soon. The dial appears very clean with no visible marks. The inner portion of the bezel surrounding the dial is colored reddish-orange, as is visible in the photograph and of the style for this model. The case bears some light scuffs from light wear, and the goldmark on the band appears a bit rubbed, suggesting the watch was detailed at some point. The bracelet shows only very light wear. The watch is further accompanied by a Patek Philippe tie-tag. Overall a very attractive watch.

Produced between 1971 and 1978, Ref. 3604 is rarely seen at auction. According to our research, the present example is one of fewer than five of this model to appear for public sale. The present lot is being offered on behalf of the original owner and it is the first time it has appeared at auction.
