  • A Stainless Steel Chronograph Wristwatch with Registers, Tachometer and Bracelet Circa 1975 Ref 6263 Oyster Cosmograph Daytona
  • diameter 38mm.
• cal. 727 nickel lever movement, mono-metallic compensation balance, 17 jewels • silvered brushed dial, applied baton indexes, three black engine-turned subsidiary dials calibrated for constant seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers • tonneau water-resistant-type case, screw-down crown and two screw-down chronograph pushers, black bezel insert calibrated for 200 units per hour, screw back • case, dial and movement signed • with a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and deployant clasp

Condition

The movement is in nice condition and is running. The dial appears clean with no surface wear. The crystal appears to have some scratched on it, and should be replaced. The case shows general wear and light surface scuffs, but generally in very nice condition. The bracelet is rather tight and in nice condition. It is numbered 557 to each end and 78350 19 as well. The numbers between the lugs are 6263 and 6056649 and 6263 inside the back.

Rolex launched this model, Ref. 6263, in 1971 as an Oyster replacement for the earlier non-Oyster Ref. 6264.
