  • A Gold Coin-Form WatchCIRCA 1930 NO 14282
  • diameter 35mm.
• ultra-thin nickel lever movement signed European Watch & Clock Co, Inc., 18 jewels, eight adjustments • silvered dial, Roman numerals, outer minute track, blued steel Breguet hands • 18k gold circular case • the watch concealed within an 1895 United States twenty dollar gold coin, the coin opened by concealed spring in band, the watch secured by one hinge • dial signed Cartier  

Condition

The movement is running, however it is running fast, and it will require service. It is numbered 28012. The dial shows spotting and aging, most noticeably between 10 and 11 o'clock. The watch is set into the coin with a screw but does not seem secure and the setting may need to be tightened. The case shows scuffs throughout. The top lid of the coin is a bit curved.
